Tom Jones

Middle-aged men, hold onto your wives! Tom Jones is coming to town. In what may be the sexiest day in Downtown Disney history, this 68-year-old pop icon (feels weird even saying that) is making an open-shirt appearance at the House of Blues. Since his glory days as a ’60s polyester sex-symbol, Jones has turned his quaky baritone and fierce pelvic gyrations into a career that has spanned four decades and sold more than 100 million albums. His 2008 studio effort, 24 Hours , was Jones’ first recording in 15 years. But it’s his legendary Las Vegas performances for panty-chucking fans at the MGM Grand that keep his career alive. And in order to bring a bit of Vegas atmosphere to the party, the House of Blues has even thrown in a buffet package with a Tom Jones theme. We’re talking dishes with names such as “What’s New Fish and Shrimp Creole” and “Whoa Whoa Whoa White Chocolate Banana Bread Pudding.” What, no “Sex Bomb Sundae”?
