As far as fliers go, it's pretty hard to say no to an event like this. Though I'm not quite sure what the occasion is behind tonight's Mustache Shindig at Proof, I'm quickly reminded that people with sweet-ass mustaches don't need a reason to party. And in the region of gentrified Santa Ana, where hipster facial pubes abound, this should be one hell of a shindig indeed.
Besides trusted house warm ups by DJs Michi and Rick, there are a couple of solid live bands that will surely make your ears and your upper lip tingle with joy. Santa Ana's The Dig (who we wrote about here ) are performing along with Dying in Digital starting at 9:30 p.m.
Who knows, if things go well, this could be the start of a great new mustachio moment of sound. We'll see.
