Film Screening:The Business of Being Born, 6 p.m.
If the thought of an eight pound hunk of meat forcing itself out of your private area doesn't scare you enough, this movie will open your eyes to even more to worry about. The Business of Being Born interlaces intimate birth stories with surprising historical,
political and scientific insights and shocking statistics about the
current maternity care system in America. This film screening is open to the public. And bonus! Ricki Lake, the executive
producer of the film and host of VH1's Charm School (the best show ever–those Rock of Love girls are out of their minds), and Abby Epstein, the director, will attend the
screening.
