Bands always want folks to sing up for their mailing list, but usually you don't really get anything for it, other than emails updating you about the band's various goings ons. The Fling are doing way better than that. If you send an email to

And if you're looking to see the Fling in concert, oh man, are you in for a treat: they're playing tonight at the Gypsy Lounge in Lake Forest, as part of the month-long Living Suns residency. They go on at 9:45 p.m. Then they've got a gig in their native Long Beach on July 18 at the Prospector with San Diego's Writer. Much Fling in your future.
