Two hours may seem like a bit of a stretch, but we're definitely looking forward to catching another round of Press Pass Music on KUCI 88.9 FM, this time with special guests The Steelwells.
It's been a pretty good start to 2009 for the band, who've begun to steadily increase their profile (especially with us), over the last few months. Today, the band joins KUCI DJ Ashley Eliot (or just “Ash”) to talk about what has been going on with the band lately. One item definitely on the table is the upcoming release of their new album.
Though the title and exact release date have yet to be announced, members Brian Manchester, Joey Winter, Andrew Eapen, Robbie Gullage and Billy Kim have been hard at work recording over at the studios of ArtiSans label in Fullerton. Never heard of ArtiSans? Try reading the piece our editor Albert Ching did on them a couple months back…click HERE. Listen in today to hear some of their new product and hopefully get some answers to all those burning Steelwells related questions you've been harboring for so long.
Oh, and F.Y.I., all KUCI fans and local music fans in general should report to the Yost Theatre in Santa Ana tonight for another installment of KUCI night starting 8 pm featuring Saint Motel, Klum, Giant State and Links (who are also joining Ash on the show today).
