If I hear anyone else say “Le Cordon Blue” I'm going to scream. It's not “Blue”, it's “Bleu”, pronounced properly–the French way. I've been hearing the faux pas on TV over and over again recently, both in ads for local culinary schools and in a contest tie-in with the new Julie N Julia movie.
I've even seen websites misspell it as “Blue”, which is plain dumb!!!
It's not difficult. It's BLEU, not BLUE.
