Slower month than usual this time, as we observed only a handful of restaurants opening. Some of the notable ones include Early Bird, the breakfast joint that perennial food blog golden boy Joseph Mahon debuted in Fullerton. This month also saw the resurgence of the Japanese convenience store Famima!! as they try their luck again, this time in Newport Beach.
But then as slow as the month seemed, we also didn't see too many closures either, which is also a good thing.
