The streets surrounding the Los Angeles Convention Center over the past weekend, (May 11-13) were jam-packed with ladies and gentlemen dressed in all the glitz, glitter and glam they could find. Stilettos, patent leather knee-highs and clear heels paired dramatically with latex body parts, glamorous makeup and elaborate wigs XXX at this year’s Rupaul’s DragCon.
The event was for all ages and many queens brought there families along, even supporting children who’ve taken up extreme interest in the drag community. Despite the stigma surrounding the drag scene, good vibes, positivity, love and acceptance was all I could see and feel throughout the weekend- for once there were no haters around. Plus, this was a one-stop shop for all things drag.
