Five Guys, In-N-Out, meet Smashburger. I believe you already know The Habit.
Smashburger has opened its second planned restaurant last week in Aliso Viejo after debuting one in Mission Viejo weeks before, on November 20th. The latter was the first outlet in Orange County for the Denver-based chain, which gets its name for how they “smash” their burger patties on the griddle from a ball.

The newest Smashburger is located at 26541 Aliso Creek Rd, Ste C, Aliso Viejo. The Mission Viejo branch is located inside The Shops at Mission Viejo.
In a burger-related note, The Habit opens yet another store in Irvine on Culver and Walnut this week. The grand opening is Wednesday, but they are open today, with all sales benefiting Share Our Strength, according to their PR person
