Acts such as Billy Joel, Beyonce and the Dixie Chicks have all sung the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Now, Christina Aguilera will be added to the roster. The songstress will belt the tune before Feb. 6's Super Bowl XLV match-up between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers at Cowboys Stadium in Texas. The Black Eyed Peas are slated to perform at halftime. . . .

This marks the second Super Bowl performance by Aguilera, who also sang at Super Bowl XXXIV in 2000. Luckily, the diva has a good voice, and she broke the three-year streak of American Idol singers–Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks–who have delivered the Anthem. Maybe Xtina will liven up “The Star-Spangled Banner” with a wardrobe malfunction? We'll have to tune in to see.
