Veterans Day specials and freebies abound on November 11, 2010 for all our fine active duty personnel and veterans. Here is a round-up of a few chains which are offering free meals and other treats.

- Chili's – Free meal.
- Hooters – Free meal.
- Outback Steak House – Free Bloomin' Onion and beverage.

Also offering specials and freebies are a few non-chains:
- Anaheim White House – All military personal including veterans and active duty will receive 50% off all lunch or dinner entrees.
- Avalon Bagels to Burgers – Free breakfast or lunch.
- Back Bay Bistro – Those donning their uniforms (or showing up just with their military I.D.) will receive a free lunch (one entrée per person).
