It’s been a month since their grand opening celebration and Static Fridays continues to lure party people out in droves to Detroit Bar. Featuring all things electronic—house, electro, progressive, dubstep—DJs start spinning at 9 p.m. but the cover charge doesn’t kick in until 10:30, and even then it’s only ten dollars. Presented by Nyte Hype Entertainment and Electronic Nation, Static Fridays hosts a revolving roster of both upcoming and veteran DJs—but this night it’s your chance to dominate the tables with their DJ Hero competition (winner gets to take the game home). Professional mix masters scheduled for the night include DJ Langdon, Taylor Jamin and DJ Scott Staley.
