For those Saddle Creek fanatics devastated following the disbanding of Azure Ray in 2004, things are looking up. The dream pop duo out of Alabama have recorded a new album Drawing Down the Moon which will be released Sept. 10. Sporting a melancholy acoustic sound, singers Maria Taylor and Orenda Fink produce music that falls between the lovelorn pathos of Jenny Lewis and the harmonic unity of Veruca Salt.
