#61. The Lunch Buffet at Tandoor Cuisine of India
Is there a more economical way to gorge on great food than at an Indian buffet? Especially one as immaculately stocked and well-managed as Tandoor Cuisine India in Orange?

The price the last time I indulged was $8.99 for lunch, an admission toll that couldn't even get you into the crummiest AYCE in the most dilapidated hotel in Vegas.

Here you can stuff your face silly on chicken tikka masala, a perennial favorite with that addictive silken orange gravy you ladle to excess over your rice.  Then proceed to succumb to your caveman instincts when you gnash your incisors on their unearthly red-tinged tandoori chicken, picking it down to the bone. After that, shove forkful after forkful of saag, chased by crisp pakoras and densely-packed samosas; and slather the whole bit in mint chutney, mango chutney, and the simple burn of milled chili paste.

Then, when your face is in danger of melting a la Raiders of The Lost Ark, cool off with raita and salads. The reprieve will calm things down again, or least until you go back for seconds and thirds.

In the meantime, your waiters will fill a near pathological need to continually replenish your basket of naan — an obsession you will only be too happy to oblige since the flat bread is always served scorching hot and slicked with garlic butter.
