Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the child prodigy who influenced Classical chamber music for the ages, would be 259 years-old today. And while we can't have him blow out candles or make him a birthday cake, perhaps a musical tribute will suffice; Mozart Classical Orchestra presents a concert that will likely serve as the most fitting tribute for the talented composer's birthday. They'll be performing his captivating Overture in C, the Double Concerto and the Symphony No. 34, with violin solos by Mischa Lakirovich. This long-running classical orchestra knows Mozart's repertoire the best, from his most obscure to iconic pieces, and aim to spread the joy of Old Wolfie's music through concerts for audiences of all ages. So even though this genius is celebrating another year, we're the ones receiving the gift of listening to his masterpieces.
