If you're thinking this weekend's weather is going to be particularly nice for being outside, Mission Viejo is holding a food and wine festival this weekend (Saturday and Sunday) at Oso Viejo Community Park. Admission is free, as is the parking. Mission Viejo joints such as Broken Yolk Cafe will be selling waffles, Bahar Restaurant will be grilling kabobs, and Fiamme Pizza Napoletana will be baking pizzas.
To check out what other vendors will be present, check out the website, and of course, there will be wines. Drink tickets can be bought in $2 increments, with wine and beer samples costing one ticket. More info about alcohol pricing can be found on the website.
There will also be street painting and music called the Arts Alive & Street Painting Festival, which is actually what the food festival was added on to.
