Remember Tap House and Tap Shack, the sports bars with the pour-your-own beer taps? Both opened sometime in the last five years–Tap House in Huntington Beach and Tap Shack in Newport Beach–and both, well, tapped out sometime in the last year.

Now the vacated space where Tap House used to be in Huntington Beach has become a new restaurant and lounge called OPM. The food at OPM, as far as I can tell, is sort of Asian-inspired with egg rolls and shishito peppers. But the menu I saw also had goat cheese salad, elote, and roasted bone marrow, so maybe I'm wrong about that.
Currently, it's in its soft opening stage, but when it does open, expect an Asian-ish interior design scheme with hanging paper lanterns and such. “OPM”, if I'm not mistaken, is supposed to be pronounced “Opium”, as in “opium den”.
According to its OpenTable's reservation page, OPM officially opens next Friday, June 12, since those are the first open slots available to reserve.
More on this here, as it comes.
