Put on “All Out of Love,” and everyone–well, most people–will start jamming to it. An Australian classic, it’s been getting airplay in the U.S. since it was first released in 1980–a tell-tale sign that it’s an international classic. With music that ranges from up-tempo to mellow, an Air Supply show is dynamic, full of energetic moments with mellow breaks mixed in between. Some numbers, like “Making Love Out of Nothing at All,” are opportunities to relax to Russell Hitchcock’s unique voice, which sounds like it hasn’t changed since the ‘80s. And when, say, “Lost in Love” chorus comes on, take part in some swaying action. Add the band’s down-to-Earth interactions with their fans (as they’re known for) and you have a night to remember forever.
