On Thursday, October 29, Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers–the fast-food chain founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana–will officially open in Costa Mesa, its first location in California. Prior, most of the chain's locations were located in the south along with some in Arizona and Nevada.

As you can infer from its name, the chain focuses on chicken fingers and combos that include variations of Texas toast, cole slaw, crinkle fries, and their famous Cane sauce, which tastes like Thousand Island Dressing with extra tang and spice. Chicken fingers can be eaten alone or in sandwich-form.
For the grand opening, the first 20 dine-in customers will receive free food from Raising Cane's for a year to celebrate California as the chain's 20th state to open in. The first 100 dine-in customers will receive a tee-shirt. You know what to do: head there early!
