Adam Stone, Autistic Ex-Student, Sues Over Being Dragged Out of Irvine High School

An autistic student who was dragged from an Irvine High School classroom earlier this year for talking loudly is suing the school district in federal court.

Adam Stone, 18, claims in the suit filed in U.S. District Court in Santa Ana that after being dragged out by a campus guard and two other men in April, he was thrown to the ground, handcuffed by Irvine Police and put in a patrol car.

Goodbye, Mr. Cross – Dennis Cross yelled all the time. He threw Kleenex boxes at students. He constantly pounded a gavel against the chalkboard. He once smacked my friend in the back with a yardstick. A tribute to the best damn high school teacher I ever had

That prompted the teen to kick out the unit's rear passenger window, causing flying glass to rain over him, his suit alleges.

The complaint accuses the guard and cops of using excessive force because they were not informed Stone is autistic. Apparently, it's OK to use excessive force on a non-autistic kid.

Anyway, the Irvine Unified School District is keeping mum on the suit, as per policy with pending litigation. Gotta know when to keep that mouth shut in Plasticland.
