For the uninitiated, metalcore music can sound like an indecipherable cacophony of screams and morse code drumming. But once in a while, a band burns with a fire that cuts through the chatter. August Burns Red does that vacillating between enraged screams and anthemic choruses. The drumming is complex yet tight and compelling. Check em out.
