Not long ago did art punks Isis Queen, Pyn Doll, JayJay Doll and Krash Doll (note: not their real names) meet at an artist compound in Greece and connect through their mutual interest in playing music. The rest, as they say, is history: naming themselves Barb Wire Dolls, the group veered away from the corporate music industry to focus on self-releasing their own songs, which feature a hard metal/thrash punk-sound drawing interest from punk pioneers like Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols to Iggy Pop. The band have since played festivals at every corner of the world, co-headlining with Sham 69, GBH and Cockney Rejects, to name a few. If you're in the mood to see a high energy, take-no-prisoners punk show tonight, look no further than stopping by Malone's tonight to see these Dolls play.
