Just in time for Valentine’s Day comes a dating app for BDSM enthusiasts.
FetL, which in its beta testing period had about 8,600 abusers users, was just released worldwide.
Guess what co-founder Iris Li says got her to explore the kinky life?
Seeing Fifty Shades Darker.
That reportedly led her to various BDSM websites and YouTube content. However, what she could not find were like-minded people. She apparently hasn’t read our Savage Love columns.
Anyways, Li decided to take the bullwhip by the horns and develop what would become FetL.
“Although Fetlife has a very large subscriber base, they don’t have an app available through GooglePlay or Apple,” she says in the launch announcement. “I saw an untapped market, and decided to do something about it.”
Find her app, which is said to combine the familiar features of Grindr and Tinder, through the Apple AppStore: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1316930539.
Meanwhile, as a Fetalife enthusiast, I’ll await the app that hooks me up with feta cheese.
