Though he released his last album, Go Fly a Kite, back in 2012, Ben Kweller has continued touring on and off—his current run features a date in Texas before a quick sprint through Southern California, which includes a stop at the Constellation Room tonight. Bursting onto the scene as a teenager in post-grunge band Radish in the ‘90s, Kweller, now 33, has carved out a pretty sweet career for himself as a journeyman singer/songwriter. Between his five solo records and a number of guest spots and collaborations (most notably 2003’s The Bens with Ben Folds and Ben Lee), Kweller is expertly able to dabble in elements indie rock, alt-rock and anti-folk. While it seems like he’s been already around forever, Kweller still has plenty of music to gift to the world.
