Although SanTana gets a lot of the credit for revitalizing its own downtown, Fullerton’s had a solid one going for years before. With a wide array of music venues and stores, ranging from the rocking Slidebar Rock-N-Roll Kitchen to the horns section at Mo’s, DTF keeps the scene alive after being one of the birthplaces of OC punk decades ago. Of course, it also has all of the bars, restaurants, shopping and other services—including the excellent Classic Tattoo Parlor—you’d want and expect in a city with some serious cultural history. Just ignore the slack-jawed 909ers, and you’re golden!
