Best Local Chain

The burger at Rockfire Grill is twice as thick as In-N-Out's and charred in the right places. But it's not the meat that's the star; it's the baked-to-order bread shaped in a clamshell that hugs it. The outer surface is crusty, still hot to the touch and with the crunch of a fresh-out-of-the-oven ciabatta. So far, Rockfire only has two locations, but if owner Raj Syal's ambitions are met, you'll see more soon in OC—and then everywhere.
