Irvine's local student population has long been plagued by late-night bouts of boredom in the sleepy town. The nightlife options are few and far between, but thankfully, Irvine houses one of eight total Dave & Buster's locations in the state. The vast arcade/eatery/bar understands what it takes to please children and adults alike: sensory overload. With blaring pop music, neon lights in every corner and the ding-ding-dings of games dispensing tickets, D&B is akin to a child-friendly casino. If you're child-averse, however, the weekend late-night crowd is your best bet. There, childishness only manifests in the Tri Delta girls who have drunk their weight in strawberry-watermelon margaritas.
