Although it pains us that this is Black Sabbath after its ever-more-acrimonious split with original drummer Bill Ward, let’s remember the good times, the dark times, and of course the heavy times. Black Sabbath was heavy metal incarnate, a command of genre equaled only by Hawkwind and space rock, and there's a tiny dark spot within just about every human born that comes alive to solemnly headbang to songs like “Iron Man” and “Sweet Leaf.” New album 13 still has (anti) life in it, and the good thing about Sabbath is the slower they play, the better it sounds. Oh, and also one of these guys had a very popular reality TV show—The Butlers, wasn’t it?
