What sparked the seizure of 290 marijuana plants from a Stanton home early Tuesday morning?
Blue sparks.
A neighbor in the 1200 block of Court Street reported seeing blue sparks coming from a residence just after midnight, which prompted a response from Southern California Edison, Orange County Fire Authority and the sheriff’s department’s hazardous materials team.
Faulty wiring was determined to be the cause of the blue sparks, but deputies also served a search warrant.
After that, 90 mature marijuana plants and 200 starter plants were found and seized, according to the sheriff’s department.
No one was home at the time. Meanwhile, I’ve copyrighted “Blue Spark” as a MMJ strain.
