It always takes longer to get through permitting and buildout than even the most pessimistic project managers plan for, but eventually it all falls in place. When you're an immensely popular brewery looking for bigger digs, that goes double.
After a somewhat contentious fight for a conditional-use permit, Bootlegger's Brewery is finally going to be moving to its home on the north side of the tracks, with a soft opening tentatively (tentatively!) scheduled for March 1 and an official opening soon after. The beer won't be brewed in the tasting room–they've secured other premises–but it's all staying local.

The incipient move means that the last day at the old tasting room, at 401 S. Richman St. in Fullerton, will be tomorrow, Saturday, February 22. The tasting room will be open its usual hours (starting at noon), but the party starts at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. There won't be any on-site tasting until they open at the new place, 130 S. Highland Avenue, Fullerton.
