Born Free is a true local success story—a let’s-throw-a-fest-fest that’s grown into a world-class celebration of old school biker culture, making Oak Canyon Ranch shake with the sound of 10,000 (or probably lots more, actually) engines. And, naturally, you wanna make the most of an occasion like this, so here’s the Born Free pre-party with some high-octane rock ‘n’ roll: El Mysterioso, the frontmysterioso from locals Los Mysteriosos; plus the stripped-down rockers Drunk Folk; the no-BS punkers Hardship Anchors, and the Davie Allan-meets-Social D biker-punkers Vicious Cycles. (There’s an afterparty next week with the mighty Shrine coming, too—prepare!) And free parking for bikes, of course. If there was a perfect time to tell the boss you’re not coming in to work ever again, trust us—this Born Free weekend is it.
