Few things are as classically American as the Fender guitar. Just a hair over 60 years old, the Fullerton-based Fender company has consistently produced the most popular guitars in rock and pop music, known for their durability, ease of use and classic tone. The brand-new Leo Fender gallery at the Fullerton Museum is hosting its inaugral exhibit, 'You Wont Part With Yours, Either,' which highlights the advertising work of Robert Perine, who developed the concepts for most of Fenders advertising between 1957 and 1969. In addition to displaying Fender ads, the exhibit also will feature selected works from Perines art and design career. Even if you cant afford a new Strat for the young shredder on your holiday list, you can at least afford the admission to this show.
