Pedro the Lion's former front man David Bazan is a bit of a loner. Known for the fantastical yarns he spins-like that of the white ghost with high hopes for vagina in “Cold Beer and Cigarettes”-Bazan has made himself the sole protagonist of his story, letting go of occasional collaborator Ben Gibbard and longtime drummer Tim Walsh. Now it's all Bazan, all the time-for better or worse. His solo debut, Fewer Moving Parts, shows off his signature songwriting and melodies with lush harmonies. So expect to hear plenty of your favorite ditties, the new stuff and, since it's Christmas, we're guessing maybe some bells jingling.
