Good news for those of you who still manage to quote '90s sketch-comedy show In Living Color on a daily basis-yes, you. The one who told your co-worker the cookies she brought in were worthy of two snaps in a special Z formation. And a circle. And a cheek pop. After your third Fire Marshall Bill impression of the week, that is. Years later, actor/comedian David Alan Grier is probably still best-known for his work on In Living Color (alongside other now-megacelebrities, such as Jamie Foxx, Jim Carrey and various Wayans siblings), although it should be mentioned that Grier actually got his start on a radio adaption of Star Wars for NPR in the '80s . . . after receiving his MFA in drama from Yale. He was then nominated for a Tony and starred in the Robert Altman film Streamers before making a shift to comedy. Relive the days you used to quote Men On Film and Calhoun Tubbs-you know, like, yesterday. Two snaps and a backfield in motion!
