Spaghetti Westerns aren’t for everyone. The Italian-produced tales of the untamed American West feature dirt, gun slingin’ and chewin’ tabbacci at their finest (read: not chick flicks). But we’re pretty sure everyone loves Clint Eastwood—especially when he’s young, hot and packin’ heat. So give one of these film classics a try with the 1966 hit, Buono, il Brutto, il Cattivo, better known as The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Eastwood plays The Good, a wandering gunman searching for a fortune in dead man’s gold, who must compete with The Bad—a hitman who never misses his mark—and a selfish Mexican bandit, The Ugly, as they hunt for treasure buried in a graveyard. But once it’s found, neither man is particularly inclined to share the earnings. Check it out and root for the bad guy. It’s more fun that way.
