This cheeky, brazenly dark comedy penned by television writer Wayne Lemon (remember The Torkelsons?!) follows a week in the life of a young man trying to find his way. A football player who peaked in high school, Ethan is having a life crisis. Yet it’s on the 17th hole of a miniature golf course called “Blood of the Lamb” (did we mention this play is set in South Central Texas?) that he finds Jesus. Or rather, a Wal-Mart mannequin dressed as Him on the cross. Hey, people find light wherever they can in dark times. And sometimes it can be funny.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 7 p.m. Starts: Jan. 30. Continues through March 1, 2009
