Formal dancing has definitely seen a resurgence in popularity over the last few years—we can thank all those dance competition shows for that, and the strange way a struggling actor can boost their career by sashaying across the stage in a shower of sequins. So if you just can’t get enough Dancing With the Stars, head down to Bowers museum this Sunday, where a bona fide dancing heavyweight will show you how it’s done. Saloman Rivera, an International, U.S. and World Salsa champion, will be demonstrating classic Latin American dances like the Dominican Meringue, the Cumbia and, of course, the ever-popular Salsa. It’ll be so much cooler than sitting on your couch and watching Donny Osmond do the jitterbug.
