After what seems to be like a million nights of showcases at venues scattered all throughout the county—eVocal, Detroit, Gypsy Lounge, whatever—it's finally here: the OC Music Awards. Sure we might poke fun (see: Albert Ching and anything OC Music Awards related that he's written), but it's nice that someone is finally trying to recognize the bands and music that do call Orange County home.
