“Hello, I'm Johnny Cash.” These famous words served as the introduction given by America‚s favorite man in black at each of his concert performances, so it's fitting that the phrase also begins Ring of Fire, the musical of Cash's life as told through 38 of his hit songs currently showing at La Mirada Theater. Not to be confused with Walk The Line, the 2005 film version of Cash's life starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, Ring of Fire is a unique show about love and faith, struggle and success, home and family that are the staples of this folk music mastermind's tale. Created by Tony Award winner Richard Maltby Jr. and conceived by William Meade, this direct-from-Broadway play is making it's West Coast Premier in Orange County this weekend. Get some rhythm and stand in line to get a glimpse at this Grammy winning artist's life like you've never seen before.
