We know what you’re thinking, and the answer is “yes, they still exist.” And by continuing to sell out venues in which they perform, it’s clear that they’re doing quite well, thank you very much. The B-52s, known to some as the “world’s greatest party band,” haven’t had a huge hit single since the early ‘90s, but with perennial hits like “Love Shack,” “Rock Lobster,” and “Roam,” they can be commended for hanging in there and continuing to make music, well past the point where they might have been sustained by residual checks alone. They're currently touring sans-beehives in support of their latest record, 2008's Funplex (their first album of new material since 1992) and making a stop at the OC Fair.
