Good news for all of you from back east. Last Friday, our friends over at Foodbeast broke the news: California's first Halal Guys is going to be in Costa Mesa, specifically, in that chunk of Costa Mesa that's right next to Santa Ana and Irvine.

The restaurant is scheduled to open in August and will be found at 3033 Bristol Street (Also lovingly known as down the street from Weekly World Headquarters). Those of you who haven't yet tasted that white sauce can start counting down starting now.
