Contrary to what the title of this event would have you believe, Camera Lucida has nothing to do with cameras—or even photography. Rather, it's a chamber quartet out of San Diego whose debut appearance at the Barclay is presented by the Philharmonic Society of Orange County. Tonight's show features said quartet rocking Brahms' Piano Quartet No. 1 in G Minor and No. 2 in A Major. The arrangements start out peacefully enough, but there are moments of unexpected intensity interspersed throughout that will sweep you to new heights, if you let it.
