So you want to get your 420 on this weekend? From cooking with the herb to cannabis psychics and tarot readers– there’s some serious greenery going on within the scenery this week! Here’s a list of herbal events happening in SoCal that’ll immerse you in the blossoming, smoky community. Just remember: You must be at least 21 years old (unless stated otherwise) and have a valid doctors recommendation if you attend events that involve using cannabis. Oh, and don’t medicate and drive!

Friday Night Sesh: 420 Nurses
This event takes place every Friday and is focused on bringing lots of quality meds to those in attendance. You can expect to enjoy medicated and non-medicated munchies, meet the people behind your favorite canna-products and smoke with the 420 nurses. The vibe is community oriented and you only have to be 18-years-old to attend– obviously a doctors recommendation is required.

420 Lowrider’s Paradise
This is Adelanto’s first city sponsored cannabis event! Paradise Media is hosting a three day fiesta celebrating cannabis brands, products and tricked out cars. There will be over 100 vendors, a Dj, lots of like-minded smokers and the chance to indulge in medicated (and non-medicated) deliciousness. Rich Kerr, Adelanto’s mayor, and city council representatives will speak to attendees on Friday at noon. The Weed For Warriors Project will host a veterans meet-up sesh in the Vet tent. MaryJane University will also host a live demonstration for attendees. There will even be a cannabis competition awards. The event is going to be smokin’. 18-year-olds can attend the event with a doctor’s recommendation.

Cannabis Cooking Experience
Join L.A. Cannabis Chefs and Happy Hippy Co. for an in-depth, hands on 2.5 hour class, detailing basic and advanced cannabis culinary techniques. Learn different methods of infusion and how to perfect your cannabis cooking skills and dosages, whether you’re an edibles expert, or it’s your first time in the canna-kitchen. You can enjoy your tasty treats in class while learning, and there is plenty of time to ask questions, so you can take your new-found skills back home with you! The event is BYOC and has limited space. Must be 21-years-old to attend.

Constellations: Past, Present & Future
Relish in an afternoon of self-care, mystical experiences, infused treats, and sampling the best of the edible and topical spheres (the part of the event you need your recommendation for!). Psychics and tarot readers will present you with higher wisdom to guide you through the now and future, while sound healers bathe you in vibes. Sit at the essential oil bar and soak in the last days of summer in the LBC. A part of the proceeds will go to a local women’s shelter, too!

Paint and Smoke:
The event is BYOC, but your ticket covers art supplies, good tunes, a space to vape and lounge to smoke in. Prepare to make a masterpiece because your creative juices will be flowing.

Alchemy unleashed
This month’s theme is Cannabis Media. The event will feature key speakers from the industry who are experts in their craft while local Canna Brands offer medicated treats to qualified patients. The Alchemy Lounge is South Park LA’s Premier, members only social club. BYOC to enjoy in a collaborative, entertaining and discreet environment.
