From elevated yoga to cannabis gaming nights and celebrating the herb under a disco ball for Puerto Rico– there’s lots of opportunities to partake in the greenery. Here’s a list of the herbal happenings in SoCal that’ll immerse you in the blossoming, smoky community. Just remember: You must be at least 21-years-old to attend events (unless stated otherwise) and have a valid doctors recommendation. Oh, and don’t medicate and drive!
Yoga and Cannabis in Beverly Hills
The Dr. D crew is holding an elevated yoga session at their luxury event house in Beverly Hills for those looking to get their namaste on. Prior to the meditative sesh, Dr. D. will explain the science behind how and why cannabis is used as a natural pain reliever. You’ll get a tutorial on the session’s featured product, which is a high-end vape pen and cannabis oil. The 90-minute Yin Yoga (sometimes referred to as “slowga”) class will not only explore the finest cannabis, but it’ll also help unite your body, mind and soul through deep, restorative stretches and meditative contemplation.

Highway 420: Cannabis Tasting Tour
Experience Southern California’s first cannabis tasting and party bus tour. Cannabis enthusiasts will visit major LA dispensaries, social lounges, the Hollywood Hemp museum and catch a comedy show sesh. The party bus will be fully stocked with multiple strains of flower, concentrates, vape cartridges and edibles– all of which will be available for your sampling pleasures. You must be at least 18 to attend and have a doctors recommendation. There will be doctors onsite writing recommendations, so if you don’t have one and want to go, you still can!

Disco for Puerto Rico
OG Girls Club in partnership with Circle of Health International are hosting a holiday benefit party to raise $5k for women, children and the LGBTQ community effected by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. 100 percent of all admission proceeds will go to assist those still in need of water, food, shelter, medications, and care during the holidays. Expect a beautiful evening under the disco ball where sipping cocktails and dancing consume the evening for a great cause.

Friday Night Sesh: 420 Nurses
This event takes place every Friday and is focused on bringing lots of quality meds to those in attendance. You can expect to enjoy medicated and non-medicated munchies, meet the people behind your favorite canna-products and smoke with the 420 nurses. The vibe is community-oriented and you only have to be 18 years old to attend, although obviously a doctors recommendation is required.

Gamers and Cannabis Event
If you like games and cannabis (what gamer doesn’t?) this event was made for you. Held on the night before Christmas Eve, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy games inside gaming truck where 28 players will be able to play at once. There’ll be seven massive gaming stations, plush limo-style interior and much more. Vendors will be there handing out the best canna-goods, too.
