In the strangely Valentines Day-appropriate story of Catching the Butcher, we follow one woman's quest to win over the man of her dreams: a serial killer terrorizing a Texas town by murdering women and dumping their bodies (with a poem attached) in the river. Sounds like a dreamboat! Written by Adam Seidel, this dark comedy takes an quirky look at how far some people will go for love—when Nancy finds herself captive and tied up in the killer's basement, she's kinda into it. Catching the Butcher makes your own dismal love life positively glow by comparison—and a night at the theater is way more entertaining than window-shopping on Match. Plus, there's some brief nudity. And that's always fun.
