Chick-fil-A President Openly Proclaims Anti-Gay Stance

For years, Chick-fil-A has been the subject of protests and boycotts for donating millions of dollars to gay-hatin' Christian organizations, but president Dan Cathy has always downplayed the company's stance on homosexuality, insisting that the chicken sandwich empire has “no agenda against anyone.” (Read: “We're happy to take the money of all people.”)

At last, he's done with the cowardly babble. In an interview with the Baptist Press, Cathy describes the franchise's true mission: to operate on “biblical principals.” When asked about the company's support of the “traditional family,” he responded, “Well, guilty as charged.”

“We are very much supportive of the family–the biblical definition of the family unit,” he explained. “We are a family-owned business, a family-led business, and we are married to our first wives. We give God thanks for that. . . . We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles.”
Cathy confirmed his stance in an interview on The Ken Coleman Show (audio link), reports The Huffington Post
“I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at Him and say 'we know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage' and I pray God's mercy on our generation that has such a prideful, arrogant attitude to think that we have the audacity to define what marriage is about,” Cathy said.
So, that's that. Those who oppose Chick-fil-A's stance can declare once and for all to stop eating there, like thousands are doing on Facebook and Twitter. And if the chicken sandwich cravings become too much to bear, Advocate.com has this home recipe.
