Muzeo has dedicated an entire exhibit to chocolate—proving the decadent sweet isn’t merely an opiate for hormonally raging females, but also a livelihood, a gift from the gods, an expression of one person’s love for another, and sometimes even currency. Through visual representations that include a replica of a cacao tree, Muzeo explores the rich history of the famous confection from its early consumption by Mayans to the ways in which the cacao tree interacts with the ecosystem. And yes, you get to eat some.
