An amateur bowler from Orange County has made it into the sport's version of the Final Four.
Chuck Ridal, who bowls out of AMF Cerritos Lanes, represents OC in AMF Bowling Centers' $500,000 National In-League Tournament finale today and Saturday in Las Vegas.
More than 60,000 AMF league bowlers began the competition, which is now down to the final 108 rollers.
Bowlers in one of four divisions with the highest pins-over-average score walk away with record-breaking purses of $50,000 each.
Every national
finalist leaves Sin City with something–if they avoid the slots and tables on the way out of town–as prize money ranges from $25,000 for
second place to $250 each for 15th to 27th finishers.
Keep up with the tourney, live from the Orleans Hotel & Casino, at tournament.amf.com, via Twitter at bowlatAMF or on AMF's Facebook fan page.
