[Editor's Note: Quick Questions is our semi-regular feature where we ask comedians a ton of random questions without giving them time to think of anything funny to say. Surprisingly, they still do.]
Because being the owner of SideOneDummy Records (who's celebrating its 20th anniversary this year) just isn't enough, Joe Sib decided to get his rocks off by jumping into the realm of stand-up comedy. His passion for the craft has clearly been noticed as he's been tapped to perform at clubs all over the country but most importantly, all over OC and LA. Setting aside Joe's punk rock roots, he's also a total mash up of engaging material performed with insane energy and on March 10th, you can see him for yourself on stage serving up a side of funny at La Cave in Costa Mesa. Before you head out for that much needed night of laughs, we rocked his world with a few of our favorite “quick questions.”

OC Weekly (Ali Lerman): Where is the strangest place you've given an autograph?
Joe Sib: Fresno.
Fair enough. Did you have a backup plan if this whole comedy thing didn't work out for you? I think I'm living the backup plan right now!
What's the bravest thing you've ever done? I ran into a house that was on fire to save people but when I got inside, they had already left. Then I had to explain to them why I was inside their house that was currently on fire.
Gluten-free or fuck off? I'm old school, I like gluten. I once saw Gluten open up for Limp Bizkit at the Warped Tour in 1997!
You're so lucky! Gluten is my favorite boy band! Not saying you get them but, how you handle hecklers? I offer them food that's full of gluten and hope they get sick and leave.
Ha! Fuck gluten-free! So what was your first time on stage like? The first time I was ever on stage, I was a magician. I was ten years old and I performed at a pizza parlor in exchange for free pizza. My last trick was to escape from a cardboard box handcuffed. So my first time on stage? AWESOME.
What's the weirdest thing in your refrigerator right now? A Heineken because I really only drink Coors Light. Once in a while, my wife makes me get a “real beer.”
OK no. Heineken over Coors Light all day but I'll try not to judge. If Hollywood made a movie about your life, who would you want to play you? For the early years, Anthony Kiedis from the Red Hot Chili Peppers. For the lost years, Lou Ferrigno. And for my senior years, a current Henry Winkler.
Alright, you're redeemed. I love The Fonz. What motivates you? Caffeine, my wife, my kids, more caffeine, a douse of alcohol, good weather, surfing, skateboarding, and friends.
What if you could have one superpower? What would you pick? Rid the world of racism, sexism, and homophobia.
Very sweet. Good pick! What's the most expensive thing you've ever broken? The legendary singer Wayne Newton's microphone in Las Vegas while doing a show with my band WAX. I threw the microphone and not only did I break the microphone, I also broke the girl's hand that it hit!
Oh my god that rules! Is there something you're not all that great at but like doing anyway? Stand-up comedy.
OK that is not going to sell tickets Joe! On to the next, do you have a nickname? My real name is my nickname, Joe Sib. Do you really think that my last name only has three letters?
Ummm, of course not. Last question so you can leave to worship gluten. What's the best advice that you've ever been given? My dad once said to me, “Do what you want and love doing it, just not in this house.”

Initially skeptical, I initiate that it significantly helped with my anxiety and doze issues without any unconcealed side effects. The lubricator was easy to put to use, with legible dosage instructions. It had a indulgent, earthy liking that was not unpleasant. Within a week, I noticed a marked upgrading in my all-inclusive well-being, hunch more blas‚ and rested. I cognizant the unstudied technique to wellness CBD offers and plan to continue using it.
