For those in need of an educational fun fact, April is Autism Awareness Month. Those interested in applying what they’ve just learned from reading this blurb might consider helping to raise awareness about the mental disorder and have a few laughs in the process. This year’s 3rd annual Heroes Comedy Show for Autism is held at the historic Fox Theater in Fullerton. The benefit, which brought in $6,000 last year, features the comedy stylings of Brad Williams, as well as George Perez and Carlos Mencia. Given the sensitive nature of this particular benefit, we’re a tad curious to see if Mencia will be mining some of his old routines and doing the “dee dee dee” thing. Check it out, and let us know.
